Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of pepper - 1 item
- eggs or egg substitute - 2 item
- corn canned - 1 c
How to make corn fritters:
Mix corn and beaten eggs; sift and add dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Drop by tablespoon in shortening. Brown; turn to brown both sides. If cream-style corn is used, a little more flour may be needed. I chill the batter before frying.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
