Corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- marjoram
- can creamed corn - 1 oz
- can Niblets corn - 1 oz
- strips bacon, cut in half and browned for later use - 4 item
- medium potato, cubed in 1/2-inch pieces - 1 item
How to make corn chowder:
Saute onion in bacon grease until translucent. Add water, salt, pepper and marjoram. Bring to slow boil. Add cubed potato. Bring temperature back to slow boil. Cook potato slowly. Add corn and milk. Add bacon bits before serving.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
