Corn bread casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- corn - 1 pt
- onions - 2 item
- self-rising corn meal - 3/4 c
- tomatoes, drained - 1 qt
How to make corn bread casserole:
Brown onions in oil and add beef. Cook until the red is gone. Add tomatoes, corn, salt and pepper. Mix 3/4 cup self-rising corn meal and 1/2 cup milk. Spoon over meat mixture. Bake at 350° until corn bread is browned.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Bacon.
