Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- large ham hocks - 2 item
- large bunch greens - 1 item
How to make collard greens:
Place collards in large bunch, cut up and wash very good. Add cooking oil. Add large ham hocks and sugar. Add salt (in large pot). Add greens. Cook for 2 or 3 hours or until very tender. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Side dish, Greens, Collard greens.
