Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- slices bacon - 4 item
- small green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- fresh corn, cut from cob - 3 c
How to make skillet fried corn:
Fry bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon, reserving the drippings. Add green pepper to drippings in skillet. Saut over medium heat, stirring constantly, until peppers are tender. Stir in corn. Cook over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in salt and sugar. Crumble bacon and place on top of corn.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
