Ingredients/Components

  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • slices raw bacon - 15 item
  • 1/2 c brown sugar - 1 item
  • c worcestershire sauce - 1/2 item
  • 1/2 c ketchup - 1 item
  • #10 cans Pork and Beans - 2 item
  • 1/2 c mustard - 1 item

How to make southern baked beans:

Add onion, and bell pepper to pork and beans. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, mustard, ketchup and worcestershire sauce. Then mix with pork and beans in big pyrex pan. Put bacon slices on top. Bake at 550 until brown.
