Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- or 2 ham hocks - 1 item
- collard greens - 2 lb
How to make collard greens:
Wash greens and cut them. Place ham hocks in boiler with about 1 quart of water and let boil about 30 minutes. Then add oil, salt and sugar. Add greens and cook over medium heat. Stir about every 10 minutes and cook until tender.Recipe categories: Side dish, Greens, Collard greens.
