Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- can mushrooms - 1 (4
- small onion, sliced - 1 item
- cans beef consomme - 2 item
- raw rice, washed - 1 c
- extra margarine - 1 item
How to make rice pilaf:
Grease dish with margarine. Add the 1 cup washed raw rice and 2 cans beef consomme. Saute onion in the 4 tablespoons margarine and pour on top of rice, soup mixture. Drain can of mushrooms and put on top. Bake 1 hour, uncovered, at 350°. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Side dish, Rice, Long Grain rice.
