  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • cooking oil - 1/4 c
  • honey - 1/2 c
  • medium onion - 1 item
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • medium head cabbage - 1 item

How to make cole slaw:

Shred cabbage. Cut pepper and onion and mix with the cabbage. Heat to boiling point the vinegar, sugar, oil, honey and salt. Watch when this comes to a boil, it could boil over easily. Pour hot mixture over slaw. Cool and refrigerate. Will keep for two weeks or more.
