Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- medium head cabbage - 1 item
How to make cole slaw:
Shred cabbage. Cut pepper and onion and mix with the cabbage. Heat to boiling point the vinegar, sugar, oil, honey and salt. Watch when this comes to a boil, it could boil over easily. Pour hot mixture over slaw. Cool and refrigerate. Will keep for two weeks or more.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
