Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- light brown sugar - 1 c
- rum - 1 c
- egg, whipped - 1 item
How to make hot buttered rum sauce:
Melt butter in saucepan. Combine sugar and cornstarch; add to butter while stirring. Add milk, egg and rum. Cook until smooth and glossy. Serve over pound cake, bread pudding or ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, < 30 mins, Condiments, etc..
