Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- sifted cake flour - 2 c
- oleo - 1 c
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture
How to make coffee cake:
Cream the oleo, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture. Fold in sour cream and vanilla carefully. Pour 1/2 of batter into well-greased and floured Bundt cake pan. Cover with topping, then rest of batter.Topping:1/2 c. chopped nuts2 Tbsp. brown sugar1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon Bake for 55 to 60 minutes at 350°. Turn out on serving plate while hot.All Bundt cakes are nicer if set in an iron skillet while baking.
