  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • shredded coconut - 1 c
  • sugar I do not use a full cup - 1 c
  • loaf French bread, cut thin - 1 item

How to make coconut toast:

Cream together margarine, sugar and egg. Add coconut; spread on bread and bake at 350° until evenly browned.
