Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- vanilla
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- coconut - 2 c
- egg whites - 2 item
- Cool Whip - 1 item
- egg yolks, slightly beaten - 2 item
- baked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make coconut pie:
Combine sugar, flour and salt; add milk and egg yolks and stir until smooth. Add coconut. Cook until thick. Beat the egg whites until foamy. Add sugar gradually and beat until stiff; fold in hot mixture. Pour in baked pie shell and refrigerate. Top wRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
