Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla
- milk - 2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- whipping cream - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- flour plain
- 9 or 10-inch baked pie shell - 1 item
How to make coconut pie:
Mix all ingredients, except coconut, real good with a whisk and cook at medium temperature (burner) on stove, stirring all the time with the whisk until filling thickens, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add coconut. Mix well. Pour into the pie shell and top with meringue.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
