Coconut macaroons
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- egg whites - 2 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- can flaked coconut - 1 1/2
How to make coconut macaroons:
Grease a cookie sheet. Beat egg whites, vanilla and salt till soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in coconut. Drop from a teaspoon 1 1/2-inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 325° oven about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
