Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- coconut
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- egg whites - 2 item
How to make coconut macaroons:
Mix coconut, sugar, flour and salt in a bowl. Stir in unbeaten egg whites and almond extract and mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until edges are brown. Remove from cookie sheet at once. Makes 1 1/2 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
