Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 1/2 c
- Rice Krispies
- chunky peanut butter - 1/2 c
- sesame seeds - 2 Tbsp
- old-fashioned oats - 2 c
- unsalted peanuts - 1 c
- raisins or dried cranberries - 1 c
- unsalted sunflower seeds - 1/2 c
How to make energy bars:
Toast oats for 15 minutes at 250°. Add peanuts, raisins and sunflower seeds. Cool. Mix in Rice Krispies. Melt butter, peanut butter and marshmallows. Add dry mixture and mix together. Press into buttered pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. To serve, cut into desired size or cut and wrap to store.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
