Coconut macaroons
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flaked coconut
- all-purpose flour - 1/3 c
- sweetened condensed milk - 2/3 c
How to make coconut macaroons:
In a bowl, combine flour, coconut and salt. Add milk and vanilla; mix well (batter will be stiff). Drop by tablespoonful 1-inch apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool. Yields 1 1/2 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
