Ingredients/Components
- can condensed milk - 1 item
- can water - 1 item
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg yolks save egg whites - 3 item
- can coconut - 1 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- baked pie shell - 1 item
- sugar - 1/4 c
How to make coconut cream pie:
In saucepan, combine milk, water, egg yolks and flour. Cook until comes to a boil and thickens. Add coconut and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar slowly while beating. When mixture is stiff, top pie and bake in 375° oven until meringue browns lightly.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
