Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 1 c
- flaked coconut
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- boiling water - 1/4 c
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- yellow food coloring - 1/2 tsp
- egg white unbeaten - 1 item
- 7 Minute Frosting:3/4 c
How to make coconut cake:
Mix all ingredients and pour into greased and floured cake pans; bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.7 Minute Frosting:3/4 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/4 tsp. cream of tartar1 egg white (unbeaten)1/4 c. boiling water1 large pkg. flaked coconut Mix ingredients together and then add water.
