- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- oil - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 3/4 c
- baking powder
- baking soda
- boiling water - 1 c
- powdered sugar
- Add eggs, milk, vanilla and oil
- light flavor, 1/2 c
How to make deep dark chocolate cake:
Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and oil. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool. Frost with Buttercream Frosting.One Bowl Buttercream Frosting:6 Tbsp. softened butter2 2/3 c. powdered sugar1/3 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla cocoa (1/3 c. light flavor, 1/2 c. medium flavor and 3/4 c. dark flavor) Cream butter; add cocoa and sugar alternately with milk.
