How to make coconut cake:

Sour Cream Coconut Filling:2 c. powdered sugar1 (9 oz.) tub Cool Whip, thawed3 c. coconut2 c. sour cream1 tsp. vanilla Mix in and bake in three 9-inch cake pans. Cool cake and split layers to make 6. Spread with Sour Cream Coconut Filling between layers and on top. Seal cake in airtight container and refrigerate for 3 days before serving.

Sour Cream Coconut Filling: Mix powdered sugar, sour cream, Cool Whip and vanilla until blended well. Add coconut. Mix well and spread on cake.
