Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 3
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar
- butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
- pecans, chopped
How to make coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. pecans, chopped2 tsp. cinnamon4 Tbsp. brown sugar Glaze (Thin Consistency):1 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. butter, melted2 to 3 Tbsp. milk Grease and lightly flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Add flour, salt and baking powder mixture gradually. Layer in pan 1/2 batter, 1/2 topping, rest of batter and rest of topping. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes (until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean). Drizzle with glaze immediately after removing cake from oven.
