Banana bars
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- mashed bananas
- nuts, optional - 1/2 c
- Grease and flour jelly roll pan
How to make banana bars:
Preheat oven to 375°. Grease and flour jelly roll pan. Mix sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs on medium speed. Beat in bananas and vanilla and then add in flour gradually. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.Brown Butter Frosting:1/4 c. butter2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla 3-4 Tbsp. milk Melt butter in pan until delicate brown. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
