Ingredients/Components

  • half and half - 1 c
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • whipping cream - 1/2 c
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • cans minced clams - 2 item
  • chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • medium potatoes - 4 item
  • slices bacon - 4 item
  • bottled clam juice - 1 c

How to make clam chowder:

Saute bacon until brown and crisp. Add onions and potatoes and saute for few minutes. Sprinkle with flour. Add clam juice. Bring to boil about 15 minutes. Add half and half with salt and pepper. Add minced clams. Do not boil. Sprinkle with bacon. Serve immediately.
