Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 item
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- ginger - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- sugar or 2 Tbsp - 1 Tbsp
- scalded milk or chicken broth - 3 c
- canned or 2 lb - 3 c
- finely julienned ham - 1/2 c
- light cream if you have used the chicken broth - 3/4 c
How to make pumpkin soup:
Place pumpkin in the milk or chicken broth. Knead together and add butter and flour. Add sugar, salt, pepper, ginger and cinnamon. Also add the light cream if you used the chicken broth. Heat, but do not boil! Serve at once.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups.
