Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • potatoes, diced - 2 c
  • bacon, crumbled - 1/4 c
  • can clams - 1 item

How to make clam chowder:

Saute bacon and onion. Drain seafood and clams. Add potatoes and water to onions and bacon. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes. Just before serving, add clams, milk, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately. Makes approximately 6 servings.
