Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 tsp
  • water - 2 c
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
  • potatoes, diced - 4 item
  • ham, diced - 2 c
  • can corn undrained - 1 item

How to make ham and corn chowder:

In a large pot, melt butter; cook onion and green pepper until tender. Add water, potatoes and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 1/2 hour or until potatoes are done. In small bowl, make paste of flour by adding a few drops of water. Pour into pot. Add corn (undrained) and ham. Heat through, but do not boil as it will curdle. Enjoy!
