- cans minced clams - 3 item
- onion, minced - 1 item
- bottles clam juice - 3 item
- carrots, chopped - 3 item
- large can tomatoes, chopped - 1 item
- celery stalks, chopped - 3 item
- strips bacon, cut up - 3 item
- potato, cubed - 1 item
- thyme to taste - 1 item
How to make clam chowder:
Fry bacon, add onion. Saute until clear. Add potato and clam juice. Cook on medium for 10 minutes. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to boil. Cook on medium for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
