Cinnamon rolls
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 item
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 item
- all purpose flour - 1 c
- cooking oil - 1/3 c
- warm water
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- soft margarine - 1 item
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Sprinkle dry yeast over warm water in a large bowl, let set for 3 minutes. Add cake mix, 1 c. flour, eggs, oil and salt. Beat with mixer until bubbles appear. Add 5 1/4 c. flour, stir. Makes a soft dough.Knead dough on well-floured board. Put in bowl, let rise until doubled in size. Divide dough, roll out and spread with margarine, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Roll up, slice, and place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.
Ice while hot with powdered sugar icing.
