Cinnamon pecan coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- milk - 1 2
- sour cream - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar
- sifted flour - 2 c
How to make cinnamon pecan coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. chopped pecans1/4 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. cinnamon Glaze:1/2 c. powdered sugar1 to 2 tsp. milk Mix butter and sugar until barely mixed. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla, flour and baking powder alternately with sour cream. Mix 2 minutes on medium speed.Grease and flour 10-inch cake pan or spring-form pan. Spoon in enough batter to cover bottom of pan. Sprinkle 1/4 of the topping over batter. Cover with remaining batter. Run knife through to spread filling. Sprinkle remaining topping over batter. Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely. Drizzle with glaze.
