  • cider vinegar
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • chili powder - 2 Tbsp
  • ground allspice
  • lean hamburger - 2 lb
  • tomato paste - 1 (6
  • ground cumin - 1 tsp
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • large chopped onions - 2 item
  • clove garlic whole - 1 item
  • large whole bay leaves - 3 item
  • Do not brown
  • red or chili pepper - 1/2 tsp

How to make cincinnati chili:

Into water, crumble raw hamburger. Do not brown. Add all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer 3 hours. Remove garlic clove and bay leaves. Add whole red peppers if desired.Serving Suggestions: Spaghetti noodles topped with chili.

Spaghetti noodles topped with chili, grated Cheddar cheese and chopped onions or same as above, but add kidney beans to chili.

Coneys: Frankfurter on a bun topped with chili, onions and grated Cheddar. Serves 10 to 12.
