Reuben roll
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef
- grated Swiss cheese
- sweet pickle relish - 1/4 c
- can sauerkraut, drained - 1 oz
- Russian dressing - 1/4 c
- whole wheat bread crumbs
How to make reuben roll:
Combine meat, bread crumbs, egg, onions and seasonings. Blend well. On a sheet of waxed paper, shape mixture into a 6 x 14-inch rectangle. Sprinkle with sauerkraut and grated cheese, leaving a 1-inch border around all edges. Starting with narrow end, carefully roll the mixture, jelly-roll fashion, using waxed paper as a guide. Place in a shallow baking dish. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Breads, Cheese, Main dish.
