Ingredients/Components
- small bay leaf - 1 item
- potatoes, peeled and quartered - 6 item
- teaspoon black pepper - 1/4 item
- teaspoon chili powder - 1 item
- teaspoon thyme - 1/4 item
- teaspoon Morton Lite Salt - 2 item
- pound rump roast, cut into 1-inch chunks - 2 item
- Arrowroot to thicken - 1 item
- Garlic Pam - 1 item
- 16 oz can low sodium tomatoes - 1 item
- 10 oz can low sodium beef broth - 1 item
- stalks celery, 2-inch pieces - 4 item
- package frozen green beans - 1 item
How to make chuckwagon stew:
Wash and pat dry meat. Brown in pam in a 5 quart pot. Add seasoning, tomatoes, broth and veggies to meat. Cover and simmer for 2-2 1/2 hours. Use arrowroot per directions to thicken.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Stew.
