- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 2 item
- sharp cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- pork sausage - 1 lb
How to make christmas egg casserole:
Saut?© the sausage, drain all the grease and set aside. Beat the eggs, add milk, salt and mustard, stir. Layer the bread cubes on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Then layer the sausage, followed by cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the top, cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
