Ingredients/Components

  • pork sausage - 1 lb
  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • slices bread, cubed - 2 item
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c

How to make sausage and egg casserole:

Crumble and brown sausage. Drain. Beat eggs with milk, salt and mustard. Layer bread cubes in bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Sprinkle sausage over bread. Top with cheese. Pour egg mixture over all this. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
