Ingredients/Components
- soy sauce - 6 Tbsp
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
- large green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- whole stalk celery, cut in 1-inch pieces - 1 item
How to make chow mein:
Brown hamburger and pork. Saute green pepper and onion, then add to meat. Add the celery and soy sauce. Cover with water just to top of mixture. Simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour. When celery is cooked, add cornstarch to water to thicken. Serve over noodles or rice. Very easy and delicious!Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make.
