Ingredients/Components
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- can Chinese noodles - 1 item
- diced celery - 2 c
- can bean sprouts, drained - 1 item
- small onions, chopped - 2 item
- beef, cut in small pieces - 1 lb
- pork, cut in small pieces - 1/2 lb
How to make chop suey:
In Dutch oven or large covered skillet, saute beef and pork until well browned. Add onions, celery and bean sprouts; water can be added for plenty of moisture. Place in slow oven (300° to 325°) for about an hour. Add soy sauce. If necessary, thicken with cornstarch.
