Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 1/4 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/3 c
  • vinegar - 1 tsp

How to make chocolate snack cake:

Heat oven to 350°. Mix flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt and cocoa in bowl with fork. Stir in water, oil, vinegar and vanilla completely.

Pour into ungreased 8-inch square pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
