Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- water - 1 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- oil - 6 Tbsp
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- nuts - 1/2 c
- cream - 1/4 c
- Make 3 holes in flour mixture
How to make wacky cake:
Mix together in an ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Make 3 holes in flour mixture. In hole #1 put vinegar, in hole #2 put vanilla and in hole #3 put oil. Pour water over all and stir with a fork until all the lumps are gone. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Icing:1/3 c. soft butter1/4 c. cream1/2 c. coconut2/3 c. brown sugar1/2 c. nuts Mix together butter, brown sugar and cream. Melt on stove. Add nuts and coconut.
