- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 6 8
- flour - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 Tbsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
- Icing:1 stick margarine
How to make chocolate sheath cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 to 8 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. pecans, chopped Mix sugar and flour in a large bowl. Bring to a boil in saucepan, margarine, water, oil and cocoa. Add to dry ingredients. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, vanilla and cinnamon. Bake in greased and floured 12 x 18-inch pan for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.Icing: Bring to a boil, margarine, cocoa and milk. Add powdered sugar (sift if lumpy) and pecans. Spread on cake as soon as removed from oven.
