Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- In a saucepan, place the water, margarine, oil and cocoa and bring to a boil
How to make chocolate sheath cake:
Sift together the sugar, flour, soda and cinnamon; set aside. In a saucepan, place the water, margarine, oil and cocoa and bring to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients, mixing well. Mix together the buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Add to chocolate mixture the butter mixture. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.Chocolate Icing:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Place margarine, cocoa and milk in a saucepan.
