  • egg yolks - 4 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • flour
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • baked pie shell - 1 item

How to make chocolate pie:

Mix yolks and milk. Combine flour, sugar and cocoa. Pour all into top of double boiler. Cook, stirring constantly, to keep from lumping. Cook until very thick. Pour into baked shell. Use whites from eggs to make meringue.

Double this recipe for a full 9-inch pie.
