Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- flour self-rising - 4 Tbsp
- cocoa heaping - 3 Tbsp
- baked pie crust - 1 item
- pats butter - 2 item
- Add egg yolks and enough of the milk to make a paste
How to make chocolate pie:
Combine the first 3 ingredients. Add egg yolks and enough of the milk to make a paste. Add rest of milk; stir. Microwave 5 minutes; stir. Microwave 2 minutes more; stir. Do this until thick. Add vanilla and butter. Pour into baked pie crust. Put meringue on top; broil until brown.Meringue:3 egg whites dash of salt1 Tbsp. sugar Beat egg whites with the salt added, until stiff. Add sugar; beat until well blended. Put on top of pie. Broil until brown. Cool and enjoy.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
