  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1 Tbsp

How to make chocolate cookies:

Combine and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. Frost with chocolate icing after cool.
