milk - 1 c
salt - 1 tsp
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
flour - 3 c
brown sugar - 1 c
soda - 1/2 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
pinch of salt - 1 item
powdered sugar - 4 c
hot water - 4 Tbsp
shortening Crisco - 1 c
dark chocolate, melted - 4 sq
Bake 12 to 15 minutes in 350° oven
melted chocolate - 2 sq

How to make chocolate cookies:

Mix and drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes in 350° oven.Icing:1/2 c. Crisco4 c. powdered sugar4 Tbsp. hot water1 tsp. vanilla pinch of salt2 sq. melted chocolate1 Tbsp. hot water Mix first 5 ingredients. Put 1/3 cup icing in a separate bowl and add 2 squares melted chocolate and 1 tablespoon hot water. Spread cookie with white icing. Add a dab of chocolate icing and top with a pecan half.
