  • vanilla - 4 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 2 pkg
  • shortening - 2 c
  • white sugar - 2 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Mix shortening, sugars, eggs, vanilla, soda and salt. Add flour; mix. Add chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake in 350° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
