  • sour cream
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • large eggs - 3 item
  • graham crackers
  • melted semi-sweet chocolate - 6 oz

How to make chocolate cheesecake:

Filling:3 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese1 c. sugar2 tsp. vanilla1/8 tsp. salt3 large eggs6 oz. melted semi-sweet chocolate Topping (top cake):1 c. sour cream2 Tbsp. sugar3/4 tsp. vanilla Crust: Stir melted butter into cracker crumbs and sugar. Coat well. Press into bottom and 1 inch up sides of 9-inch spring-form pan. Chill. Preheat oven to 350°.

Filling: In mixer beat soft cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. At slow speed, add melted chocolate and blend well. Pour into crust and smooth out top. Bake for 35 minutes. Do not open oven. Turn oven off and let stand inside 15 minutes. Cool 1 hour. Refrigerate overnight.
