  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • pkg - 2 oz
  • sour cream - 3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • almond extract - 1/2 tsp
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • finely chopped walnuts - 1/4 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • fine graham cracker crumbs

How to make cheesecake:

Crust:1 3/4 c. fine graham cracker crumbs1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts1/2 c. melted butter Thoroughly mix crust ingredients; press on bottom and sides of 9-inch spring-form pan with 1 3/4-inch high sides.

Combine all filling ingredients except sour cream; beat until smooth. Blend in sour cream; pour into crust.

Bake at 375° for 35 minutes or until set. Cool; chill thoroughly, about 4 to 5 hours.

Optional: Garnish with your choice of canned pie filling and fresh fruit, or another favorite topping.
