Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • vanilla flavoring
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking soda
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • sweet milk - 3/4 c
  • Icing:3 sticks butter

How to make chocolate cake:

Icing:3 sticks butter3 Tbsp. cocoa1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring3 c. sugar3/4 c. sweet milk Mix all ingredients together. Makes 5 thin layers. Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.

Icing: Bring to a boil. Boil for 7 minutes, then ice cake.
